The SureSign Iron Deficiency Test detects low levels of Iron in the blood by testing the Ferritin in human fingerstick blood.

The SureSign Iron Deficiency Ferritin Test is a rapid test for the qualitative detection of ferrtin in human fingerstick blood for iron deficiency anemia. Iron deficiency occurs when the blood does not contain enough red blood cells and thus low levels of hemoglobin which is the major protein involved in oxygen transport around the body.

Anemia due to iron depletion is widely held in children and women of all ages but mainly in women who still have their periods.

Main signs of anemia are paleness, feeling tired, headaches, faster heartbeat or shortness of breath during exercise.

Depletion of iron which can happen during pregnancy, growth, in case iof insufficient iron intake, inadequate absorption or blood loss ( period, abnormal bleedings,ulcers etc) has tremendous effects on health.

How To Use

  • Remove the test cassette from the sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible.
  • Fill the capillary tube and transfer approximately 20uL of blood specimen to the specimen area of test cassette.
  • Read results.
